Tucker Perkins
Tucker is the president and chief executive officer of the Propane Education & Research Council. He has worked in the propane industry for 26 years, having served as the director of business development for Inergy, chief executive officer of Premier Propane, and the chief operating officer of Columbia Propane, a unit of the Columbia Energy Group. Tucker is also the former chairman of a PERC advisory committee on engine fuel matters and is active with the National Propane Gas Association and the Virginia Propane Gas Association.

Hackers are Knocking: Cyber Insurance

The oil and gas industries increasingly rely on digital communication systems to operate their businesses and depend on their employees and business partners to be effective managers of these systems. Approximately one-third of the nation’s electricity is supplied by oil and gas production, leaving huge potential for one cyber incident to cause massive interruptions of service, undetected spills, and a damaged reputation (just to name a few).
A recent report on global fraud and risk revealed a critical need for online protection. In 2017, almost 90% of senior executives in the field reported being affected by cyber incidents. To make matters worse, it’s also believed that roughly half of these cyber attacks go undetected. With that said, it doesn’t take long to realize why many in the industry are rushing to fill the gaps in their cyber defenses. Firms across the Oil & Gas industry need a cyber insurance policy that responds to both first and third party coverages to help address the traditional and non-traditional forms of attack. With a cyber policy, you’ll be covered for costs involved in dealing with, and recovering from, the most common and the most costly cyber incidents.

Peter Hedberg has more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, with a specialty in Cyber and Tech E&O lines. As Vice President of Cyber Underwriting at Corvus, Peter has been growing the MGA's cyber and tech business in the Northeast region since June of 2019. Before taking on his current role he occupied various leadership roles at Hays Companies in Minnesota, Hiscox and NAS Insurance Services (Now Tokio Marine) in New York City. He currently works out of the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Matthew Tobia is a Co-Founder of K2 Placements, LLC. He provides expertise on the insurance and
process management aspects of the business. Prior to this role, Matthew spent five years as an
insurance broker with The McIntyre Group. In 2013, Matthew then moved to Kore Insurance Holdings,
LLC as Vice President, Commercial Lines, where he split his time between managing Kore’s Commercial
Lines Division, the Marketing/Account Management of both new and existing customers, as well as
driving the strategic planning and growth of the company.
Matthew graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2006 with a degree in Business Administration and
Fordham University in 2011 with an MBA in Finance.

Clay has 27 years of experience in application and enforcement of the FMCSR’s and HMR’s on three separate levels of Government, having begun his career as a MCSAP inspector in 1994 as a Deputy Sheriff in South Georgia at the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. Later he spent five years with the State of Georgia’s former lead MCSAP agency, the Georgia Public Service Commission and underwent training to conduct Compliance Reviews. Clay has been employed with FMCSA for the past 19 years, with the majority of his career having been spent as an HM Specialist. He presently serves as the HM Program Manager for the FMCSA’s Southern Region encompassing eleven Southern States with oversight of the implementation of the agencies HM Program within the region. Mr. Greene is also an Associate Staff Instructor for FMCSA’s National Training Center (NTC) for General HM, Cargo Tank Inspection, Other Bulk Packaging, Advanced Roadside HM and Cargo Tank Facility Review.

Joe is a subject matter expert in TSA’s Security Assessment program (BASE). He is an accredited Instructor through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) and has successfully graduated from TSA’s Mid-Level Leadership Program and TSA’s Associate Program in Homeland Security. Joe is a former recipient of the Federal Executive Board Silver Award, Outstanding Supervisor/Manager in a Technical Series. Previously, Joe was the Director of Safety for a trucking company and the Eastern Regional Manager for a business consulting company.
