Leslie is the president and chief executive officer of the Propane Gas Association of New England. She has worked in the propane and regulatory compliance industry for over 25 years, having served as director of risk management and corporate counsel for Dead River Company and bureau director for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. Leslie is a graduate of the University of Texas and she holds a master’s degree in environmental management, from the University of Houston, and a law degree from South Texas College of Law. Leslie is active with the National Propane Gas Association, and the Energy Marketer Associations in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.



Warren Van Wyck has been the General Manager of Propane Management Systems, LLC for the past nine years and started in the propane business in 1997 as a District Manager for Ferrellgas. He is the architect of PMSAR Software and PMS Mobile Tablet Delivery and Service Software. Warren and the team at Propane Management Systems have a system designed by propane people for propane people. Warren has been a speaker at numerous propane conventions and engages in many sponsorship opportunities to help our industry.

Yet some in the media our elected officials, and some doctors  have made some pretty ill-advised comments that could be harmful to those who view them as authority figures.  You know, folks who know what they are talking about or a least we think they do. The same can be made about workplace safety as well as our personal safety. We often listen to those we believe know better, including ourselves, both of which often lead to disaster.
