“Propane Showcase Home” was built by the Rocky Mountain Propane Association funded by RMPERC to showcase how propane can be Reliable, Clean and Efficient
Rocky Mountain Propane Association Executive Director Tom Clark will walk you through the home and show you the features on equipment installed in the home including the new Rinnai Boiler/Air handler which uses a heat exchanger to in place of a gas fired furnace. The home was built to document the build process in order to create 5 videos that propane companies can use for marketing to Builders, Realtors and Buyers. The home will be used for the next year to host several events and be on display during the 2021 Parade of homes. The home features the new Rinnai Boiler/Air handler unit that was co funded by PERC. All gas appliances including Clothes Dryer, Oven/Range, Fireplace, Water heater, home heating, Backup generator, BBQ and Fire pit. 500 gallon underground propane tank. The home will be sold in Spring of 2022 with the proceeds going towards a duplicate project in Utah, Wyoming and Montana.
