Alex Ing is an Associate Engineer in the Industrial and Chemical Engineering Division at NFPA. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is currently working on his Master of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering also from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is currently serving as the Staff Liaison for NFPA 58, The LP Gas Code and NFPA 54 The National Fuel Gas Code. In addition to being responsible for handling NFPA 58 and NFPA 54, he handle codes and standards pertaining to flammable gases, explosives, pyrotechnics, and special effects. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Additionally he is an Engineer In Training.
