History
The Virtual Propane Expo (VPE) was created in early 2020 in response to the challenges that Coronavirus had placed on our industry. We launched our first show on April 29th, 2020, it was overwhelmingly successful and before we knew it, we did a “VPE Event” every month, from April thru October, in 2020.
VPE –
- Nearly every Thursday in 2022
- nearly 300 virtual vendors (exhibitors) with interactive booths
- An active list of over 50 sponsors
- Nearly 80 presentations made to date
- A new virtualpropanestore.com where anyone can sell products and services with no money down
- 300% more sessions than 2020
- Available to host your virtual event needs
There was and still is no cost or hidden fees to propane marketers to virtually visit vendors or participate in any of the presentations.
As members of the VPE Advisory Board, we are proud to have been a part of this ground-breaking event attended by thousands of vendors and propane marketers. Feedback has been very positive.
We know that due to the Coronavirus some of you may have either cancelled or are considering cancelling your summer conferences.

There is no cost to your association.
The chart below summarizes what VPE provides to Association Partners in 2022:

In return, VPE asks that your association do only 2 (two) of the following 5 (five):
- Inform your propane community of VPE via your e-blasts and publications. VPE will provide current info to you.
- Add the link to VPE – www.virtualpropaneexpo.com – to your association website
- Add the link – www.virtual propaneexpo.com – to your association outgoing email signatures
- Provide VPE a space in your association’s regular e-publications for VPE logo and its URL.
- Provide VPE with a written testimonial (a sentence or two) that VPE will use on the site and in its promotion of VPE.
The 5 items above are suggestions however please let us know if you have other means by which to increase VPE exposure and participation. We are open to your suggestions.
This is an opportunity to provide value and continuity of communications to and with your association members. This provides an easy-to-access forum for your members to engage with marketers as well as vendors about topics including new technologies, propane liability issues, safety, training, supply and compliance challenges that so many of your members deal with on a daily basis.
In 2020 VPE “session days” ran once a month from April thru October. In 2021, VPE Session Days will be offered Thursdays provided VPE has content for presentation. These began on March 4, 2021 and VPE would love to have you participate in 2022.
Please note that your association is welcome to be listed for free even if you choose not to become a VPE Association Partner. Any association with retail propane marketers will be listed in the Associations Section of the site.
